What I'm Living in Now: Salt and Pepper
American Apparel. Simple? Yes. Kinda porn-y? For sure. Totally comfortable? Hell yeah.
I've been searching for the perfect hoodie lately. And by lately I mean like a year. My old favorite hoodie lost its zipper, and when I found out it would cost $15 to have the tailor fix it I decided it was time for a new one. (Not that I'm giving up on the old $0.99 red hoodie with the broken zipper, I just won't be wearing it every day anymore)
So finally last week I walked into American Apparel. I must admit, I have never been a big fan. All the bright colors, the minimalist atmosphere, the heroine-chic sales people... BUT. Right there. In the front of the store. The perfect hoodie.
Unisex Salt and Pepper
Zip Hoody
The website describes it as "A fitted sporty unisex hoody in our Flex Fleece fabric." (Why do they spell "hoodie", "hoody"? I don't know. I'm sticking to my spelling though.) Their "Flex Fleece" fabric is 50% cotton, 50% polyester, which we all know is the best mix ever for t-shirts and hoodies that you want to wear in. So soft.
So I've been wearing this hoodie for the past week now, and I don't want to take it off. The $40 price tag was a bit steep, but trust me - it's worth it.
